Diethylenetriamine

Diethylenetriamine (DETA) is an important aliphatic polyamine compound with two secondary amines and one primary amine group in the molecular chain, which has extremely high reactivity and excellent coordination ability. Diethylenetriamine is mainly used as solvent and organic synthesis intermediate, can be used to make gas purification agent, lubricating oil additive, emulsifier, photographic chemicals,surfactant, etc.

Applications:

Epoxy curing: high efficiency room temperature curing agent, used in composite materials, adhesives

Oil and gas field chemistry: main components of acid gas treatment agent and corrosion inhibitor

Papermaking additives: wet strength agents and key raw materials for resin modification

Water treatment: heavy metal ion chelating agents and flocculants
