Polykem joined RubberTech China 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from September 15 to 17. At Booth N2A141, our team welcomed customers and business partners to discuss rubber materials, surfactants and their purchasing requirements.
It was a busy three days, with familiar customers stopping by and new visitors taking time to learn about our products. We returned with inquiries to follow up on, customer feedback to review and a clearer understanding of what each discussion needs next.

Time to Talk in Person
For customers we usually speak with by email or phone, the exhibition offered time for a longer conversation. We caught up on current business, discussed upcoming purchasing plans and worked through questions that are easier to explain face to face.
New visitors could look through our product information with the team and tell us what they were looking for. Conversations covered specifications, quality requirements, quantities, packaging and delivery schedules. Where details needed checking, we took notes so that we could return with the right information after the show.
These meetings helped move initial inquiries forward. Knowing the required grade, expected volume or purchasing timeline gives our team a more useful starting point for preparing a quotation or arranging samples.
Rubber Materials, Surfactants and Additives
Our synthetic rubber range presented at the exhibition included nitrile rubber (NBR), hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR), hot-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber and chloroprene rubber. We also introduced supporting products such as plasticizers, carbon black and accelerators.
Alongside rubber materials, we discussed surfactants, including Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylate (AEO), castor oil ethoxylates, TWEEN and SPAN. This gave visitors a broader view of the products they could source through Polykem.
Customers came with different priorities. Some were checking additional supply options for products they already purchase; others wanted information on grades they had not sourced from us before. Our team reviewed the relevant product details with them and noted requests for specifications, samples and supply information.
What We Brought Back
The exhibition gave us plenty to review as a team. Along with new business contacts, we brought back a better understanding of the questions customers want answered before taking the next step.
Clear documentation, suitable grades and realistic delivery arrangements were all part of those conversations. Reviewing the meeting notes helps us identify which requests need technical clarification, which need a quotation and which are ready for a sample discussion.
The feedback is also useful for our everyday work. It helps us see where product information could be clearer and what we should prepare earlier when responding to similar inquiries. We are sharing these points internally as we work through the follow-up.
Following Up After Shanghai
Back at the office, our team is organizing the inquiries received during the exhibition and contacting customers about the items discussed. Follow-up work includes providing product documents, checking specifications and availability, preparing quotations and coordinating sample requests.
If you visited our booth and have further details to share, please get in touch with your Polykem contact. An updated specification or purchasing schedule will help us respond more precisely. If we missed you in Shanghai, you can also contact our team to discuss your requirements.
Thank you to everyone who visited Booth N2A141 and made time to speak with us. We appreciate your interest and the feedback you shared. We look forward to continuing the discussions—and seeing you at a future exhibition.
